World Science Festival Toowoomba
🗓️ On Sunday, 21st May, I had the privilege of showcasing different soils across Australia and witnessing the enthusiasm of so many people who are passionate about safeguarding our soils. It was heartwarming to see young minds immerse themselves in activities like texturing soils, painting with soils, proudly wearing “I love soil” stickers, and taking home plant seedlings to care for. 🌱
🙏 I want to express my sincere gratitude to Soil Science Australia for their excellent organization of this event. The dedication and hard work put into creating an engaging and educational experience were truly remarkable. I am proud to be a part of the team! 🤝
🌾 Special thanks to the PhD student volunteers from UniSQ Agriculture and Environment Society, Lenny Seo, Begita, and Brintha. From 10 am to 2 pm, they dedicated themselves wholeheartedly. Thank you for your unwavering enthusiasm and invaluable support! 👏
🌍 As a soil scientist, I am deeply touched to witness the passion and interest shown by the attendees. It is a reminder of the importance of caring for our soils and the vital role they play in our environment and food production. Let us all take a moment to reflect on the significance of soil conservation and commit to preserving this precious resource. 🌱
🙌 Together, we can make a difference. Join me in taking action to care for our soils and promote sustainable practices. Our collective efforts today will pave the way for a greener, healthier future for generations to come. 🌿
